Lenovo Thinkpad R400

The design of the R400 clearly follows the long standing lead of the rest of the Thinkpad family. The plastic at the back of the screen is the familiar Matt black which is good for resisting fingerprints and makes a Thinkpad look like a Thinkpad. The metal hinges for the Thinkpad T30 still look great without making the machine appear frivolous. Likewise the delightful, if seldom used, keyboard lamp, the ThinkLight, allows the keyboard to be used easily in a darkened room. The 5th Gen Intel Celeron 575 CPU is not the fastest CPU around but can comfortably work in an office. The 4GB of RAM will allow you to do much more than most other lower end machines. 320Gb is more than enough for someone to get work done. This unit does not have a battery or WIFI, Both can be purchased for this machine.
